Tina Copple is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with the Diabetes and Glandular Disease Clinic in San Antonio, Texas, for over 24 years. Her focus of service includes comprehensive individualized diabetes management including oral medication, insulin, insulin pump therapy, injectables, and continuous glucose sensors. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and her doctoral of nursing practice degree from The University of Alabama, where she was awarded the Innovation in Practice Award, Doctor of Nursing Practice. She has been awarded the America’s 2018 Top 10 Nurse Practitioner Award from Point of Care Network and America’s 2022 Top 10 Endocrine Nurse Practitioners Award from Point of Care Network. She is a speaker and author. Her passion for providing excellent care has led to several certifications in diabetes, with one being a certified diabetes care and education specialist and another being board certified in advance diabetes management.
